On Monday, January 29, I visited with the House and Senate Democratic Caucuses at the Tennessee State Capitol. I have attended several candidate trainings so far, including ones sponsored by the Legislative Democrats and the Tennessee Democratic Party.
We also filed our first campaign finance report. All of our money came from individual donors, and we raised $5,835.50 through January 15, 2024. Thank you to our donors.
James visited the State Capitol today to advocate for gun safety legislation as part of the “Tennessee United for Gun Safety” advocacy day. This event was covered by Fox 17 in Nashville. I will be adding more content in the near future. I have opened a bank account and mailed paperwork to the Tennessee Bureau of Ethics and Campaign Finance this week to make this campaign official. I look forward to fleshing out my ideas and to contrast my vision for Tennessee with that of Senator Hensley.
