Tennessee is in trouble.

The Republican supermajorities in the state capitol are focused on “culture war” issues and tax cuts for the rich. Reactionary politics are hurting our public safety and creating a culture of fear and division. Growth is not being properly managed, and our education and healthcare systems are struggling.

Senator Joey Hensley, our incumbent state senator, has been in the General Assembly for over 20 years.

During that time he has made national news for all the wrong reasons – both personal and political.

We deserve better.

A progressive approach to government will strengthen our state’s economy and improve the lives of the seven million people who call our state home.
