James visited the State Capitol today to advocate for gun safety legislation as part of the “Tennessee United for Gun Safety” advocacy day. This event was covered by Fox 17 in Nashville.

Our ballot petition has received 74 signatures from Maury, Williamson, and Marshall County voters. James spoke to the UAW Local 1853 Retirees Committee on February 5, the Maury County Democratic Party on February 7, and the Marshall County Democrats on February 8. Over 25 signatures were accepted as valid by the Maury County Election Commission on Friday, February 16. As of February 27, we have returned copies of the petition to the Lewis, Giles, and Williamson County election commissions. We expect to return our petition to Marshall County in early March.
